The Combermere Room is located on the second floor and is rear facing.

This is a smaller room but is most welcoming with all the amenities of larger rooms. Someone said that it ‘feels like the room hugs you!’.

The feature king-size headboard is a rich velvet fabric from Design House GP & J Baker. The fabric designer, George Percival Baker’s passion for Indienne textiles is enduring in current trends. Over 100 years old, this fabric style and ode to Persia is from the same era as the property was built - very suitable for stylish Royal Hillsborough.

Behind the headboard, we have dark-painted wooden panels in a colour called ‘Serpentine’ by the Zoffany Design House.

All decorated in our autumnal shades the room is peaceful with restful views.

Being one of our three attic rooms, this area works well for a small group sleeping up to eight guests. It also has an optional interconnecting door with Room 11.

Your ‘Corridor Store’ will have an Iron, ironing board, fan and travel cot - feel free to use these at any time.
